Records Division

The records division is primarily responsible for data entry, storage, maintenance, security and retrieval of all incident, accident, arrest reports and the compilation of statistical data as reported to state and federal agencies. The records division is also keeper for the City of Lebanon Traffic Court.

Each month, the records division is responsible for the entry of over 700 reports. The Lebanon Police Department was first certified in the National Incident Based Reporting System in 1998. This system allows the department’s statistical crime data to be submitted electronically to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation each month. The TBI conducts an audit every 3 years to verify department compliance.

The Lebanon Police Department records division operates Monday-Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm. For a list of fees or to check the availability of a report, please call: 615-443-2831.
