Officer Kevin Ragland and his 7 yr old K-9 partner, Cheyenne, are certified through the United States Police Canine Association (USPCA) in the detection of narcotics. They are tested annually to meet the continuing proficiency standards of the USPCA in addition to their two, regularly scheduled, monthly training sessions. Cheyenne has been with the Lebanon Police Department since 2005 and is responsible for numerous drug, currency and property seizures, including a 700 pound marijuana seizure. Officer Ragland and Cheyenne are assigned to the patrol division and also assist the narcotics and vice unit when called upon.
