Sex Offender Registry

Tennessee’s Sex Offender Registry began in 1995 as a result of the enactment of federal laws that required states to create and maintain individual sex offender registries. All registered offenders are found on TBI’s website.

In accordance with TCA 40-39-201 all sex offenders must register within 48 hours of establishing residence with the local law enforcement agency where they reside. Offenders must provide their current address, personal information, contact numbers, and are required to be fingerprinted. In addition to the above requirements, an independent verification of local offenders’ addresses is periodically conducted by the Lebanon Police Department. All sex offenders must register annually and violent sex offenders must register every three months. Non-compliance with this law is a felony.

If you have any questions concerning registration, contact Detective Eugene McGee at: 615-453-4392.
